I’ve been drawing images on this rad sketch blog called Part Time Dreamers: http://parttimedreamers.blogspot.com/ peep it!
Eat the sun!
The way the vimeo player works eats the firs few frames when you press play. I suggest rewinding and watching it a second time :).
This is an animation test that I did last night. (I’ve been working on a commercial project where everything is animated frame by frame… so after a 10+ hour day of doing that, this seemed like letting off steam or something.) I really like the idea of some “Little Prince” type guy in a rotating solar system. Hopefully this will turn into something rad! If i continue, the world will rotate again, and he will put the sun in his mouth. I figure this will give me lots of opportunity to explore animation. <3!

Hello!
It’s been a while since I’ve updated. Here are some 10 minute color studies I did for kicks some time ago. There was a micro story in my head of someone escaping/ infiltrating a high security something. I tried to keep my composition as simple as possible. I will update with some more complicated work very soon!
This was originally going to be a clock where you could tell what time it was by looking at what 3D shape it was. I turned it into a chaotic illegible jpeg damaged animation instead. ENJOY!
The sky was pink, with grey blue clouds. Harold and myself made our way into what looked like an abandoned office, with papers and office chairs thrown everywhere. It was dark. We hadn’t seen the alien lifeforce yet. I beckoned Harold over to an office chair and we looked very close at its texture. I remarked that, “The aliens could be as small as these specks of dust.” Harold turned the chair over and pointed to a preying mantis, no larger than an earth ant and responded, “And we could be as small as a speck of dust to them.” The room was no longer dark. Harold stuck his graceful neck out of the resteraunt window. A very generic alien –something you would expect to see in a science fiction movie– (big forehead, large eyes, flowing irredescent robe…) ran by. Harold pulled his head back into the box car.
a collage of stuff from http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html for fun
