I downloaded the demo for Artrage, a program that simulates natural media. And came up with this after a couple hours of messing around. So far, it seems like the application offers much less control than photoshop. On the up side, the textures/color mixing that are built in to each tool very quickly and effortlessly give the feeling and appearance of natural media. Fun for sure.
