globe, planet & earth;
If I call the sphere that we all live on a “globe,” I think of a perfectly smooth ball with longitude and latitude lines running across it’s surface, very cold and abstract. If i say the word “planet,” I think of an organic mass, like a comet, covered in various types of life, very warm and real. When I say “earth,” I think of something much more political.
